The Redline process
From auction to your driveway
Buying abroad usually means juggling agents, shippers, customs brokers and garages. We replace all of that with one point of contact and one all-inclusive price.
Six steps
Your car, step by step
Typically 12–16 weeks from confirmed order to handover, depending mainly on sailing schedules out of Japan.
Brief
Tell us the make, model, year range, spec and budget. We tell you honestly what that budget buys at current auction prices.
Shortlist
We send real auction options with photos, the auction sheet and condition grade, plus our representative’s own notes.
Deposit & bid
You pick the car and pay a deposit. We bid up to your agreed limit — never above it.
Shipping
Once won, the car is transported to port in Japan, loaded on the next sailing and shipped to Limassol, insured all the way.
Customs & registration
We clear customs, pay duty and VAT, pass roadworthiness and register the car with Cyprus plates.
Handover
First service, full professional detail, then delivered to you anywhere in Cyprus.
What’s included
Everything handled, nothing hidden
Your quote is the landed, road-ready price. It covers:
- Sourcing and bidding — auction access, our representative’s inspection notes and the auction sheet translated
- Transport and sea freight — auction yard to port, insured shipping to Limassol
- Customs, import duty and VAT — cleared and paid by us
- Roadworthiness test and registration — Cyprus plates fitted
- First service and full detail before handover
- Delivery anywhere in Cyprus
Payment
Pay as the car becomes real
A deposit confirms the sourcing and lets us bid for you. The balance is due once the car is won and the final landed price is confirmed. You never pay in full for a car that hasn’t been bought.
If a car goes above your agreed limit at auction, we don’t buy it — we move on to the next one.
How long does the whole process take?
Typically 12–16 weeks from confirmed order to handover. Most of that is getting the car to port in Japan and the sea crossing to Limassol, which usually takes 8–10 weeks depending on sailing schedules.
Do I pay everything upfront?
No. A deposit confirms the sourcing. The balance is due once the car is won and the final landed price is confirmed.
Do I see the car before you buy it?
Yes. Before we bid you receive the photos, the auction sheet with its official condition grade, and our representative's notes. Nothing is bought without your go-ahead.
Will the car have Cyprus plates?
Yes. Every car is customs-cleared, roadworthiness-tested, registered and plated before handover, so it is legal to drive immediately.
